As of Tuesday Microsoft officially pulled the plug on Windows 10. Its successor was released four years ago, and by now you (and I) should have made our way to it. Windows 10 is, after all, a decade old, so it's ancient technology at this point. I haven't updated, though, and I don't plan to until I build myself a new PC, and that's whomst knows how far away.

You ever come across a traffic jam caused by people who were in a small accident and then left their rides in the road? They're endangering themselves and others and causing traffic issues by blocking a lane or three. What are they even doing?
Paywalls have gotten quite prevalent over the years for a number of reasons I won't get into. I used to work for a company whose main income was selling ads on their posts about news, events, and the like, so I get the appeal of wanting people to pay for content.
I suppose it preemptively bears mention that this idea applies to everything you might buy ⸺ online and otherwise. No matter where you go or what you're buying, folks want to separate you from as many of your dollars as they can. Such is the tao of capitalism.
I don't know if 16M views counts as a lot on YouTube, but I hope I can at least give it a few more. The way this company operates is sleazy as hell to the point I can't believe its owners haven't been arrested for wire fraud.
