Crap for Sale

Are you in or near the Richmond, VA area? Come buy my shit! Drop me an email and I'll get back to you. Depending on the item and how long I've had it, prices are not necessarily firm.

$300: 2009 (ish?) Epiphone Hummingbird Ebony

Never liked how it felt, but that's more to do with the fact that it's an acoustic than anything else. I didn't bother going into any shops to get a feel for such guitars and their very taut steel strings. Had I done that I likely wouldn't have bought it.

Instead, this was an unplanned purchase done entirely online while being an emo shithead back in my mid-20s. If I had I gone to check stuff in person, I might've gotten a nylon guitar instead ⸺ or nothing at all. Or perhaps another electric guitar. Whomst knows now; all we are is dust in the wind, I've heard.

Regardless of what should or could have been, this thing has been sitting around almost entirely unplayed for some 15+ years, used mostly as a decoration, and now it can be yours! Is it collectible? I dunno, but I don't see any exactly like it on Reverb, so why don't you buy it from me and find out?!

$60: ODG "classic" mid-length AR furniture

I decided I want to do a better "M16A4 at home" setup in the future, so I replaced all of this "classic"-style furniture with Magpul stuff on the rifle that had been playing that role. Note that the hand guard's triangular end cap is included. The magazine, however, is not; spray paint your own like I did this one!

Important: The hand guard is meant for a mid-length gas system on an upper that's got a front sight gas block. It (a) requires that front sight and a delta ring to fit and (2) ain't gonna fit an M4-style carbine-length gas system.

$50: Original Glock Performance Trigger (70272)

Works just fine and is a little dirty but didn't see too much use. My girlishly small hands found the reach of the oversized flat-faced trigger to be too long and uncomfortable. If you have normal-sized hands, this'll do you fine.

I didn't think to keep the package for it, so I can't necessarily prove this is Glock part number 70272, which is the original and discontinued run with the lighter pull weight, unless you know of some method I don't. I don't see "70272" marked anywhere obvious: the trigger bar is 65242, the trigger housing 65244, and the ejector 47021. I'm guessing those are shared between both variants. Perhaps the shape of the trigger safety dingus is a clue?

I'd rather not disassemble it and check the other parts for numbers, but I will if pressed. This thing is kind of a pain in the ass to put back together compared to the factory trigger. These parts don't really hold each other in place; the frame of the pistol does that. That's why it comes with a rubber band around the trigger housing! Free rubber band with the purchase of a trigger! Noice.

$300: Set of 215/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires

Great "nine months of the year" tires for small sports cars like the BRZ. Asking $100 each. They were retailing for $238 apiece the last time I checked, but they've been discontinued by now.

They've got about 5000 miles on them. Manufacture date is early 2021 and essentially all of their tread intact. Nothing's wrong with 'em as far as I know aside from being a few years old by now. Having one car and no garage, I got lazy with winter swaps and switched to all-seasons. They've been sitting in my house ever since.

I never kept them in the attic; they were quite literally taking up space I could've used for furniture for a long while. By now they've found their way to the attached shed ⸺ a dark place that never gets too hot or too cold. They've been sitting upright the whole time they've not been on my car and rotated monthly to prevent flat spots.
